Kellen's Birthday Party

We had our first real kid party this year and it was a blast. We had a bug theme:caterpillar cake and dirt pudding, bug hunt with butterfly nets, pin the spot on the ladybug, mason jar goodie bags/bug catchers. I think Kellen had a great time with all his buddies. Toss up between whether cake or presents was his favorite part.

Easter Tradition with the Rutherford's

I love our new tradition of spending the weekend with Jeff, Bridget and the kids. It is the one time of year where we get to spend 4 full days together with all the kids. We have gone to see them the last couple years in West Virginia, but this year they came to us. We bribed them since they no longer have any baby gear and a 9 month old requires a lot of "stuff". We spent Friday at the Beardsley Zoo, Saturday we had the whole fam (both sets of grandparents and Kerry & Jamie and the kids for an Easter feast and Egg Hunt, Sunday we visited the Mystic Aquarium. It was such a fun weekend and we finally had a beautiful spring weekend! Here are some pictures from all the fun we had.

Kellen turns 3!!!!

Happy 3rd birthday to the happiest, silliest, smartest kid I know! I can't believe my big boy is 3 already. Lucky Kellen gets to celebrate all month, starting with our Easter/birthday weekend celebration, then his actual birthday spent with the Cousin family and ending with his party with all his friends on the 21st. We bought him a big boy bike and he LOVES it! Here are some pictures of his special day!
