Soccer

Well our first attempt at an organized sport was a total disaster! Kellen had fun at the first 2 sessions, but as you can imagine with a bunch of 3/4 year olds, it is total chaos with the kids all pretty much doing their own thing. The session went for 8 weeks and we only made it to 2.5 practices. It rained for a couple of them, we went to the field for one and Kellen refused to play soccer so we ended up at the playground instead, and we were out of town for a couple...Fortunately, we only paid $50 for soccer and it included a uniform size 5(which looks adorable on a super skinny 3 year old) and a soccer ball.

Kellen found this headset, put it on and said look mom, I'm daddy at work. I laughed to tears!

Plainville Wheels & Wings Show

You know you have 2 boys when you spend your birthday at an air/car show. It was a gorgeous day, a little hot, but we haven't had many of those, so it was a nice day to be outside. A small local airport near us has an annual show with planes, helicopters and classic cars. Kellen had a blast, he got to go inside an airplane and sit in the driver seat, go in the big ladder firetruck, ride on tractors and sit in a real racecar. All very exciting for a 3 year old boy!
