A Romantic Weekend Away...

Greg and I enjoyed a belated anniversary celebration last week. We dropped Kellen & Liam off with Grammy & Grampy and drove up to Bolton Landing to stay at the Boathouse B&B, the same place we stayed right after we got married. It was the most beautiful couple of fall days, high 70s, clear blue skies, cool nights, a harvest moon, a room over the water that we went to bed listening to sounds of the waves on the lake and woke up to enjoy coffee on the deck, long, leisurely dinners at nice restaurants, cocktails at the Sagamore, a hike up Mt. Thomas with views of the Lake, I read an entire book...needless to say is it was a much needed trip with a lot of rest and relaxation for us! And, thanks to Grammy & Grampy I think the boys had an equally fun time!
