Summer days

We have finally had a stretch of nice summer weather and we all have really enjoyed it.

Big Brothers!!!

Kellen and Liam are thrilled to announce that they are going to be BIG BROTHERS! Can you tell how excited Liam is to be promoted from little brother?? Baby is due October 21st. We can't wait!

Kellens first trip to the dentist

Greg said he was very well-behaved and did great. He really liked the water they squirted in his mouth and "mr. Thirsty" who sucked it all out.

Big Boy - Liam is 20 months!

What a big boy, 20 months already!! This has been a fun couple of months. He and Kellen are playing together so much more and it is so much fun to watch them interact. More like watch Liam copy everything Kellen does. His language has exploded since Christmas. He has so many words and is starting to put words together like - more milk peeze, mommy up, brush teeth, etc. His new favorite word is yellow, it's so cute the way they say it. He LOVES trucks, cars, balls, and being outside. Every day now he goes to the back slider and tries to open it yelling OUTSIDE. He's definitely getting a little more assertive and has acquired the snotty sounding "NO" word. He does not like to be told No though and will fall on the floor crying if you tell him no. He loves to brush his teeth and if you want to get him to go to bed all you have to say is time to brush your teeth and he runs for the stairs. He is running everywhere and climbing on everything. They keep me busy these two! We went to the doctor today. He is 34 inches (75th percentile), 24 pounds (25th percentile) and 90th percentile for head. He is right on all his growth curves and his doc thinks he's doing great. He got 4 shots and was not at all happy about that!

Visit to Boston

We took a road trip to Boston for Aunt Kerry's birthday. We met them at the Boston Children's Museum and spent 2 hours there. The boys all loved it. So much to do, what a cool place! We will definitely go back. We went back to Kerry's house and the boys all played together very nicely, with very few "incidents". Kellen and Liam were asleep within 10 minutes of our drive home and slept the whole way. Thanks for wearing out my kids Kerry!

Brothers & Best Buds

The boys have been playing so well together lately...nothing brings me more joy!

New England Air Museum

The winter doldrums have officially set in and I'm running out of fun activities to do on the weekend with the boys. Last Saturday we took them up to the New England Air Museum, near the airport. It was actually much bigger than I expected. The boys had a good time, even if Kellen was not very happy that you could not sit in the cockpit of ALL the planes.

Grampy's Birthday

Grammy & Grampy came for a visit. It was a belated celebration for Grampy's birthday and an excuse for them to see the kiddos. We had a great day. Kellen refused to nap and ended up falling asleep on Grampy's lap...the cutest. Grammy's cake was not the best, haha, but the company more than made up for it!

Wing night

It was a basketball and wings night at our house. The boys didn't eat any wings but they did love the ranch dressing with fries and carrots.
